Counseling in Schools
Counseling in Schools (CIS) supports the social and emotional needs of students in high-needs public schools through individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Much of CIS’s work is funded through government contracts, which typically don’t pay for services until after they’ve been delivered. Renewal Gen 2 support will seed The CIS Bridge Fund, a source of unrestricted funding to pay for immediate expenses. Once the contracts are paid, the Bridge Fund will be reimbursed and available to cover future expenses.
